Fit Track: Actually Using It!: Body Water

"Total body water is expressed as a percentage of your body's composition and is a vital indicator of your overall health. Optimum hydration can boost your body's ability to burn fat, increasing your metabolic rate."
Mine is STILL a little on the low side. Aim to adjust by the end of the year how, well let's start by drinking more. I am always going on about drinking but I am not sure how much I drink so it's time to figure it out.
As I am typing this my husband is in our local hospital suffering from dehydration, this is particularly bad for him as he has a kidney transplant. Water is required by the body, there is no option it is a non negotiable item.
According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water. The skin contains 64% water, muscles and kidneys are 79%, and even the bones are watery: 31%.(Water Science School, 2019)
