Abstract

This case study is based on three distinctly different learners. Learner One is a relatively young student for my target area. She is an enthusiastic and independent learner who has support at home from both parents who sponsor the lessons. Learner Two is a very experienced musician who has a Bachelor's Degree in Music Production and a Grade Eight in Acoustic Guitar. He began working for me as a student teacher for guitar and has decided to learn piano on which he is starting from scratch.  Learner Three is another teacher at my Academy, he started with me as a data entry clerk with no musical background. After starting piano lessons with me he moved fast and started to assist with my pre school music classes. Over the years his standard progressed quickly and I am now preparing to enter this learner for Grade Six in piano.
