This piece was composed to work on the skill of staccato when combined with piano and forte dynamics. There is only one note which is not played staccato.

This piece is good to use for metronome practice

Complete Practice Method

  1. Read the letter names out loud.

  2. Play the hands apart initially, focusing on how you start the sound of each note.

  3. Play each hand with the metronome starting at 60 beats per minute.

  4. Play hands together maintaining the beat.

  5. Play with the metronome aim to maintain the beat.
