MusiZONE Achieve Level One Flute

The Achieve Book is designed to allow the student to showcase their learned skills within the zones of the level. It provides verification for student, mentor, tutor and Academy that the learner is gaining skills while still enjoying the lessons that they have chosen to undertake.

The Achieve pieces are to be utilised in order to demonstrate the required skills, not to teach them. They are effectively the proof of the pudding. The Achieve: Level 1 Violin book is designed to be used as part of the Triquetrae Music Programme by TQ licensed Music Education Practitioners.

The notes used in this book are D4 to A4. The duration of notes is 1 to 4 beats and the time signatures are 2, 3 or 4 beats per bar. Loud and soft dynamic markings and staccato and legato articulation markings are included.

The Triquetrae Music Programme is an innovative method of teaching that incorporates each individuals learning style, a varied and skill based methodology and strives to ensure that students don’t only learn how to play other peoples music but also discover how to create their own music, adapt other composers music to their own unique style and also to understand the necessary theory that underpins all music irrespective of genre, era or cultural root.

​​​​​​​ The Achieve Violin Book: Level 1 is part of the programme allowing the student to learn, know and develop their skills by empowering achievable goals both in the short and long term. It may provide a simple repertoire for the beginner student but is fundamentally designed to be part of ongoing lessons with a TQ licensed and trained education practitioner. The Triquetrae Programme System uses seven zones of multiple skills in order to not only break down this complex instrument but also to provide ‘bite sized chunks’ for the student which allow a better chance for digesting this knowledge. The system acknowledges such concepts as pattern recognition, the circle of fifths and global music concepts, not just ‘Western Art Music’.
